Settee, Jacobean, Teal and Purple Interlocking Pattern Silk with Walnut Finish
Influenced by the reign of King James (r. 1603-1625). ... Jacobean furniture was lighter than Tudor furniture, made to be seen from all angles and placed a greater emphasis on comfort. The settee is fully upholstered with a loose seat cushion. The back of the settee has a slight curve and the front of the arms curve down to join the shaped settee apron. The three front legs and the spreader bars are turned with blocks where the spreader bars cross and meet the legs. The Settee Measures 4 5/8 inches wide 2 3/8 inches deep x 3 inches high and is available in a walnut finish upholstered in a teal and purple interlocking print fabric.
